The Libertines musician Pete Doherty has joined forces with PETA to urge fashion label The Kooples to go entirely fur-free by sending a letter to the store on the charity's behalf.

Doherty, who once designed a collection for the brand, wrote 'Not much shocks me anymore, but PETA's undercover video exposé shot on fur farms did - it shook me to the core. It's obvious that these animals' entire lives are filled with torture... And all for fashion?'.
